Every month, Glen Eden Community House opens its doors to the neighbourhood for a vibrant day of connection, creativity, and community spirit. Our Community Open Homes are a chance for locals to explore the space, meet others, and enjoy a variety of activities designed to bring people together. Whether you’re new to the area or a long-time resident, there’s something for everyone.

Alongside the open homes, we host our Car Boot Market — a lively outdoor event where stallholders sell pre-loved treasures, handmade goods, and local produce straight from the boot of their cars. It’s a fantastic way to support local sellers, discover unique finds, and enjoy the buzz of a grassroots market.

🙌 Volunteers Needed – Be Part of the Fun 🙌

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make these events a success! If you love being part of a community and want to lend a hand, we’d love to hear from you. There are plenty of ways to get involved:

BBQ Crew – Help serve up delicious food and keep the grill sizzling.
Setup & Pack Down – Assist with arranging tables, chairs, signage, and general event prep.
Photographers – Capture the energy and joy of the day to help us share the story.
Entertainers – Musicians, performers, and storytellers are welcome to bring the vibe!
Arts & Crafts Providers – Run simple creative activities for kids and families.

Whether you can spare an hour or the whole day, your support makes a big difference. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, gain experience, and be part of something meaningful.
